Gary and Louise wanted somewhere that was a little different and weren’t interested in a hotel or a church wedding. “When we arrived at Barnabrow House in Cloyne, we instantly fell in love. It was full of character and charm; we just knew it was the place for us,” says Louise.
They both tried to involve their friends and family in their day as much as possible. Louise herself undertook a lot of DIY projects, like wrapping jars collected by friends and family, in burlap and lace, gathering bunting, making name card holders from wine corks and printing table plans.
Louise and Gary’s advice is to make sure you get a wedding videographer. They chose the lovely Daniel from Bainis Films. “It was one of the best decisions we made. We look at it every now and again, it captures the day perfectly; short, sweet and so beautiful”.
