Have you been keeping up with our coverage of our September Venue of the Month, Inchydoney Island Hotel and Spa? We have advice from their expert team of wedding planners on planning the perfect wedding, and coming up next week, we have a gorgeous real wedding at Inchydoney Island Hotel and Spa for you to enjoy, and get inspired by. But in the mean time, we have asked their team to come up with a list of the best places to take your couple photos at our venue of the month, so you can start to imagine what your day might look like there!

1. The Bridal Suite

Designer Nikki O’Donnell from NODA has drawn inspiration from the West Cork coast in her design of the new suites at Inchydoney Island Hotel and Spa, bringing the stunning seaside scenery indoors using local crafts people and suppliers where possible. The large floor to ceiling windows ensure panoramic views of the incredible coastal views, and the beautiful four poster bed and large balconies offer a beautiful background for romantic photos of you and your newly betrothed.

2. The Inchydoney Suite

Last year the hotel unveiled the elegant refurbishment of the Inchydoney Suite, which has been the venue for many ‘I do’s’ and wedding celebrations throughout its 20 years. With soft seashore tones of blue and grey, and a relaxed and fresh style throughout, the new look ballroom with its bleached timber, golden touches and neutral colour palette is atmospherically lit and looks fantastic in photos.

3. Inchydoney headland and beach

Consistently voted as one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland, Inchydoney beach is just a few steps from the hotel offering a variety of beautiful backdrops for your wedding photos. At Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, you can even choose to get married outdoors on the beautiful headland, with the soundtrack of the waves crashing and stunning views surrounding you.

4. Viewing Balcony

Make sure your photographer doesn’t miss the opportunity for a wistful shot of you gazing out to sea from one of the balconies at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa – how beautiful is this….

5. Lounge beside the fire

During this joyful but busy day filled with family and friends, grab a few moments with your bride / groom for a toast to married life beside the fire in the cosy and beautifully decorated lounge.
