It sits on 220 acres of parklands which incorporate Castle ruins, a meadow, lake and formal gardens, so you better believe there are some stellar photo opportunities if you take a stroll outdoors on your big day. Not to mention a stunning backdrop, even if you plan on staying indoors.

They've got world class facilities, that aren't limited to just gorgeous rooms. They've got their inland links styled golf course, 5 star spa and leisure centre as well as food outlets, walking routes and the beauty room, which all offer many options to entertain your guests over a two or three day period around the wedding.

Castlemartyr have 103 guest rooms, and they come in various shapes and sizes meaning you have various different accommodation options available to suit all budgets and group sizes, keeping guests all within the resort.

- The Capel Suite
The Capel Suite is the main wedding reception venue in Castlemartyr Resort, and it is stunning. A ballroom with a difference, it features floor-to-ceiling windows with huge chandeliers and incredible drapes, and it's set up to wow your guests and provide the perfect ambience for your big day.
- The friendly Irish welcome
One of the things the Castlemartyr staff take great pride in is providing guests with a traditional Irish welcome. They look forward to welcoming wedding parties to the resort and couples and their guests are sure to immediately understand why Castlemartyr has the reputation it does as one of Ireland's best wedding venues.

- The delicious menus
They have just launched their new menu for 2017, and boy is it impressive. Created by Executive Head Chef Kevin Burke, it incorporates an abundance of local produce. Some of our favourite dishes from the relaunched menu are the smoked haddock and spinach tart, and the strawberry tasting plate.
