Choosing a wedding songs and making a decent playlist is a job and a half, if you ask us. You don't want to choose the exact same as everyone else, but picking good music everyone will like is also something you have to factor in. However, there are some choons that just seem to work for weddings. And, if you've been to a wedding in the last year, the chances are none of these songs will come as a surprise to you.

Spotify released a list of the 50 most popular wedding songs globally, having analysed and condensed the 6.7 million wedding-themed playlists around the world. We're bringing you the top ten, plenty of which we're sure you've heard as first dance songs in particular, over the last number of months.

John Legend topped the bill with All of Me, which has been streamed a whopping 540 million times, while Ed Sheeran at number three holds the crown for fifth most streamed song of all time with over 800 million streams. They won't be original wedding song choices, but if nothing else, you'll be guaranteed everyone will know them!
