Ireland AM presenter Ciara Doherty married her long-term partner Richard Stearn yesterday, just outside Barcelona.

The Donegal-born TV anchor had a lavish wedding ceremony in the Monserrat mountains, where she said 'I do' in front of 120 family and friends.

She walked down the aisle in a gorgeous gown designed for her by Orlaith Carroll in The Attic Bridal in Co Limerick. She looked stunning in her bespoke dress, which was an intricately beaded, strapless dress, finished off with scalloped details. Her hair, a soft low chignon, was by Niall Colgan Hair Dressing and her gorgeous bridal makeup was by Rebecca Todd.

Her beau, Dublin native Richard, who is a producer at TV3, looked handsome in his navy suit, which he paired with a silver tie.

Their fairytale style outdoor reception had a pink and white floral theme with elements of greenery and drop candles.

Ciara and Richard are heading off on a two-month honeymoon back-packing around North and South America.

"We’re travelling across America with a special stop at Nashville as I adore American country music! Then it’s down South America for good steak and hiking,’ she told EVOKE.ie. "We’ve wanted to go travelling for a long time but with work and study and buying the house it just wasn’t possible but we’re biting the bullet now and I am beyond excited."

The pair got engaged in Ciara's native Donegal in 2015, after having met while working together at TV3.
