Beautiful bridal fashion by the waterside at Coolbawn Quay

We're heading waterside today, with gorgeous bridal fashion and decor inspiration at Coolbawn Quay; one of our favourite places. We had the pleasure of visiting as a team, for the second time, to shoot this editorial for our last issue. Together with Paula McManus and Grace Campbell, we spent a beautiful, late summer day creating this romantic tale and our winter cover.

Cove Cake Design made this stunning gilded creation, perfectly matched in with the deep colours of Grace's colour palette. So gorgeous!

Gowns were elegent and romantic, like this one from Sharon Hoey. Suits were fitted and contemporary, like this swanky Tiger of Sweden from Brown Thomas.

Recognise that beard? Yup, that's James McDonald from our regular 'Groom With A View' feature. Model, stylist and fashion writer...is there nothing he can't do?

We fell in love with this scalloped, beaded gown by Patrick Casey (above).

If something simple and perfectly cut is your thing, you'll love this flowing number by Margaret Coyne.

Stunning florals and stationery in powdery plum, soft blues with hints of burnt yellow were supplied by Blathanna, Claremorris and Appleberry Press.

Lace lovers will adore the gown above from Myrtle Ivory and this lighter shade of grey suit is by Paul Smith at Brown Thomas.

Check out the adorable sleeves on the gown above, from Lola Ball Design.

There were oohs and ahhs all around when Mary Kate appeared wearing this Myrtle Ivory gown. And James' plum suit by Tiger of Sweden at Brown Thomas was the perfect hue for our winterberry colour scheme.

How amazing is this image? We think it might be our fave. It features the cover star dress too, of course - an amazing long sleeved Rue de Seine number from The White Gallery. Amazing!

We're pretty loved up with the idea of a dramatic skirt and top combo and these two pieces from Sharon Hoey really sealed the deal. The little cashmere sweater is just so sweet.

Check out those gilded details. Yum! The mix of warm, deep shades with delicate colours, set againt bold metalics and inviting textures...this has Grace & Saviour written all over it and we LOVE it!

Gorgeous, eh? Check out some behind the scenes snaps from the shoot here and the deadly 'making of' video by Conor Stafford here
