Simple DIY Flower Pot Wedding Centrepieces

It's the season for garden weddings like the gorgeous one we showed you yesterday, so we thought we'd give you a little DIY lesson that's perfect for a garden fete. We've created inexpensive, eco-friendly and cheerful flower pot wedding centrepieces you'll be loving long after your wedding day.

We picked up several €1 terra cotta pots from the shop, then assembled a few supplies: a few colours of paint, painters tape, and a brush. We painted each pot a solid colour, let the pot dry, then used tape to mark off geometric shapes. Carefully, we painted in those shapes and removed the tape. We added some bright begonias and geraniums to the pots and voila! Fast, cheerful pots you can use for wedding centrepieces or to brighten up your next barbecue!

One of the best tricks about this project is that it's practically instant. The terra cotta pots absorb the paint so quickly you barely have to wait for the paint to dry. We'd love ot see if you try your hand at making your own!
